Is it rue that the EU (European Union) is on the verge of collapse because of the economic collapse?
Is it rue that the EU (European Union) is on the verge of collapse because of the economic collapse? Some European countries are thinking seriously of ditching the Euro. Personally, I look forward to the day when the EU collapses in on itself and Europe goes back to being made up of Independent Nation States – the way it was always meant to be!

Above question for ‘Is it rue’ read ‘Is it true’.
John C is quite right – we would all be better off if Europe was split up. No questions were asked about it being set up, it was all supposed to be about trade wasn’t it? None of these bureaucrats in Brussels were voted for – they have built huge buildings costing a fortune to house all these so-called public servants and pay them huge wages. Why? Where did it all start? As far as Britain is concerned, Edward Heath was the traitor who signed us up for it under the guise of a trade agreement and since then no one has had the guts to say No to it. I worked for MAFF (Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries & Food) many years ago and hundreds of Directives were being received telling us what we must do. Enough is enough I say – let us have our own identities and spend our money on our own country. Let’s hope the story of a collapse is true.
