Why might some European countries not want to join the European Union?
Here’s a Description:
Before new members can join the European Union they must accept existing European Union laws, values, and policies.
Some European countries such as Switzerland and Norway chose not to join to EU because they are very wealthy and independent and have vast natural resources, so joing the EU would burden their economy and not help them in any way.
