Should Turkey should be allowed to join the European Union? Please explain your answer.?
No. Turkey is not ready to join the European Union. Many people think that Turkey is ready because they have been in Istanbul and they have seen a modern city, but if you travel 30 kms away from Istambul you are again in a 3rd world country. Dont forget that the BIP is about US$ 2500.00 per year (only for your info:
the BIP of Germany is US$ 27000.00) which is nothing in compare to the countries of the European Union. I dont think that Turkey is ready for Europe. They are still denying the massacre that they did to the Armenians on 1915 ( more than 1 million were killed). I think Europe has too many troubles in handling the Muslims that already are living in Europe. If Turkey joins Europe, the face of Europe will change forever. I dont say that Turks are bad but they have a different culture than Europe. The Islamic Civilization (yes Islam is not only a religion is also a Civilization has a different view of the world than “Christian” Europe).
