This text talks about immigration in Great Britain. Several research have shown that majorities of people who come to Britain from Eastern Europe.
The number of migrants has increased since the EU expansion in 2004 and 2005. Actually, we can understand, by the text, that people are fleeing the poverty and low wages. For example, the wages in poland are low, that explain why Poles represent the largest foreign national group in UK.
But, the enlargement of the European Union has intensified the number of immigrants in UK.
Then, we can see the impact of the accession countries in the European Union. The document shows some research ans comparison between UK-born Citizen and East European migrants. The majoritie of migrants worker are Young and they work harder than UK-born Citizen (46 hours compared with 42 hours)
