CAN I WORK IN ANY EUROPEAN-UNION COUNTY WITH the permesso di saggiorno (work permit) of ITALY?
i am an immigrant in italy.
(1) i want to know that is it possible to work and live in any european country with the Permesso di Saggiorno (work permit) of ITALY?
(2) i am also looking forward to learn a new language. may be german or french. what do you suggest about these two? which one can be more Useful, fruitful etc. and Easy to learn for an English passionated guy? i also need any website to know about the Laws and Rights of the italian immigrants but in english. i mean where i can get the knowledge of such questions. do you know any?
(3) in which country can you get a good wage and a classic life, i mean Bank Balance and Enjoyment of life both.

A Permesso di Soggiorno will only allow you to stay and work in Italy. It is required for all non-EU citizens staying in Italy. You are supposed to get your Permesso di Soggiorno in 8 days of moving to Italy. This website has some good information about this permit http://expatsinitaly.com/arrival/permesso.html .
If you want to work in any country, you must either get EU citizenship or get a Schengen Visa which will allow you to work in almost all EU countries http://www.eurovisa.info/ .
Immigration is a huge issue in Italy… I don’t know of any resources that will give you good information on it in English though. I know that Italy just passed a new act called “Bossi-Fini” and when I looked it up on Google News all I got were these three articles in English: http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q=Bossi-Fini+&btnG=Search+News .
