European Union Visa Waiver

Can i renew my visa if i leave to Switzerland and come back to France ?
Hello, I am from America and i left to France with a visa waiver for 30 days, but i heard if i leave the European Union, i could be able to stay 30 other days in France , so i wanted to go to Switzerland to get my waiver visa renewed, do you think that it would work ?

You can. This is not an EU but an EC issue, meaning the Community. I have never had problems.
