I have MVV(RESİDENCE PERMİT) application from Holland. Can I also apply to touristic visa at the same time?

ı am from Turkey and I was in Holland for 55 days under European Union Youth Programme; EVS(European Voluntary Service)i just had 90 days touristic visa and immigration office said me that it is impossible to extent my touristic visa. So i applied “Temporary Staying Visa without MVV” but it has been denied as well.I came back to Turkey. Now I applied to staying permission(MVV), it is on the process. But I wanna go to Holland for Chrismans. But am I allowed to apply touristic visa at the same time with an application to MVV? Because MVV is also an visa type, I may not allowed to apply 2 different types of visa(MVV+touristic at the same time)Does anyone know the procedure f MVV in Holland?

Yes, in theory it is possible but if the embassy suspects that you will overstay your tourist visa or don’t have enough funds to pay for your travels and stay they are fully entitled to refuse you a visa.

The fact that you also applied for a residency permit while in Holland on a tourist visa is certainly no advantage. That was really not a very smart move and must have been very costly as well.

People from Turkey only get a MVV-waiver if they have been legally staying in the Netherlands for at least a year (meaning: having a residency permit, not waiting for a decision on an application).
