Why are there so many treaties in Paris?
Beginning from Treaty of Paris (1229), ended the Albigensian Crusade
up until
Treaty of Paris (1951), established the European Coal and Steel Community; though now expired, it was one of the foundational treaties of the European Union

What’s special about it???
Because France was/is a major world power, today one of the few nations having nuclear arms. Through many of the treaties noted, at many times she would have been THE most powerful nation in the world.
