World Organizations….(UN, EU, NAFTA,…..)?
please help me with these questions.
i want the right answers so i can study for my test.
1) United Nation (UN)
a) what do they do?
b) Economic organization, Political Organization or both?
2) European Union(EU)
a) what do they do?
b) Economic organization, Political Organization or both?
3) is NAFTA Economic organization, political Organization, or both?
4) OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) is Economic organization, right?
5) ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nationa)
a) what do they do?
b) Economic organization, Political Organization or both?
6) NATO (North American Treaty Organization)
a) NATO is a millitary union of western Europe and North America, am i right?
b) Economic organization, Political Organization or Military? i put Military…is it right?
1.) United Nations – a, and b.
2.) European Union – a and b.
3.) NAFTA was intended to be an economic organization, but has a great deal of political influence.
4.)OPEC is an economic organization, yes.
5.) ASEAN – both economic and political.
6.) NATO – military, yes.
All of these organizations are unnecessary and undermine U.S. national sovereignty. You won’t learn that in your school though.
