How does the European Union limit the powers of its member states?
From my textbook:
“In what ways does the EU limit what its member states can do?”
I’m looking for specific areas in which the EU has legal supremacy over the member states, as well as examples of how the EU has exercised that authority.

There are several way the EU has power of other remember states. For example European Court of Justice, European Convention on Human Rights, European Community competition law etc, these are just some of the things listed here.
