Comment: Russia’s new radioactive waste law: Wanted the best, but it turned out as always
MURMANSK – The Russian parliament, the State Duma, has postponed the second reading of the new draft law “On Management of Radioactive Waste” – a controversial piece of legislation that is bound to place a heavy burden on the shoulders of Russian taxpayers while allowing importation of foreign radioactive waste into the country.
