Brown Ploy—– “Backfired “?
Margaret Thatcher was I believe invited to Downing Street a week or so ago, to substantiate Gordon Brown as a “conviction politician “, in similar stance to herself……
To of course enhance G’s popularity with regard to a snap election.?
Now we hear that she has joined calls for PM, Brown , to hold a referendum on the European Union reform treaty..
I think G, not only has been misguided,by his own actions, but
raher foolish, in the first place, to invite a Senile PM, into
Downing Street. She is Well past her sell by date , with illogical views, & who lives in the past, without recognising
the destruction she caused to Britain, her actions & Governmental mismanagement.
So no favours Brown.!……

It just goes to show – socialising with the enemy leads to suspicions that the person has actually ‘joined’ them. He’s no longer one ‘us’ but must be considered to be one of ‘them’.
Therefore Brown is now a highly suspect member of the Labour Party and should demonstrate his convictions all over again perhaps by re-nationalising some of the public utilities previously sold off by his recent Dinner guest.
Perhaps we should start a new political movement – Guy Fawkes Mk2- the only man to enter Parliament with honest intentions.
