What do you think are the main problems with the European Union?

We all know that The EU is really hard to understand structurally. What do you think are the main issues surrounding it besides the supranationalist and intergovernmental war.

I think it is a shame the way the individual countries are losing their identity. The currency is the same, the governments are starting to blend and I do not believe they are as competitive as before the EU.
