I have some European Union questions?
1. Is the european union a federation, a confederation, or something else? Can you explain?
2. When nations become members of the European union, do they retain their national sovereignty? Once again, can you explain?
3. What are the three major criteria that countries must meet before they join the EU?
4.What are the three main “institutions” of the EU?
5. Which two instuitions share legislative power? What is the diffrence between these two institutions?
6. Are the council of the EU and the European Council the same thing? Can you explain?
7. What is the executive branch of the EU? What role does it have in the legislative process?
8. What institutional changes would be proposed EU constitution make?

That’s pretty long, I’m gonna sum this up by suggesting that you learn German now, because when we’re done with Europe we’re gonna start with the Pangea Union. (Capitol will be in Munich)
