Is romania the european counterpart of the philippines?

if you look at it philippines is the only country in the latin union in asia and romania is the only one in the latin union in eastern europe. Also we both have problems with homeless kids in the street, pollution, and corruption. Another one is we are both happy countries. So what do you think?
I mean even though we are poor both countries maged to be happy

Have no idea why you’re comparing Romania with Philippine, mate, homeless kids are everywhere, sometimes they’re not homeless, they’re just sent to streets by parents, pollution is, again, everywhere, corruption, in any democratic country.
And no, Romanians are not so happy, otherwise they wouldn’t had flee over borders in search for better living (myself included).
Philippines, on the other hand, are more friendly and happy then we, the Romanians – guess they’re just better characters then us. Trust me, I have friends there.
