European Union Immigration Policies

european union immigration policies
Why did the subject of the EU only receive less than ten minutes of coverage in the Leader Debate’s(UK)?

The European Union makes 81% of British laws and legislation, they control our immigration, crime and justice, trade agreements, fishing and farming policies.

EU membership costs Britain £45.5 million each day, or in other words 16.6 billion each year.

The three old failed parties have all only proposed to cut less than 10 billion in their manifesto’s yet seem happy to send Brussels £16 billion a year.

The European Economic Community (EEC) which a referendum was held on in 1974 is NOT the same entity as the EU, The European Union came in to existence in 1992 when John Major singed the Single communities Act and the Massttritch Treaty.

12,000 EU directives have been enforced in Britain since 1997.

The trading block became a political union.

Why has no leader proposed a referendum on an organisation that has so much influence and affect on our daily lives?

Due to not enough of the electorate voting against the EU we the electorate of the UK decided we needed to join the EU and all three main parties are now agreed we have to stick to this decision and are now determined to sweep this issue under the carpet and continue to provide our money to bail out other EU countries WHATEVER THE COST to UK citizens.
1. Whilst I sympathise with the people of Greece who are now in a bad way financially why should we in the UK now supply money to bail their government out. They make more than enough money from their tourist industry to solve their problems.
2. The French and German representatives and their Allies run the EU and the UK do not get a say (we have been stiched up by these two governments lies when they convinced us it would be a good idea to join). If the French farmers want more subsidies they go on strike, block the channel ports and then get what they want. If the German steel industry needs more sales the whole of the EU is made to buy from them.
3. Since the Tories election manifesto clearly stated more power to the people and we can get rid of our MPs if we are not happy with them now is the time to put pressure on them and all the other parties’ MPs. Write to your MPs and tell them you want a referendum on the EU or we will get rid of them! Don’t just sit there and winge, do something about it!
