European Union Health Care System

european union health care system
If European heathcare is as bad as the republicans say, why don’t they just go to an American system?

European Union Countries and Canada are democratic and have as much if not more control over the their government and politicians as we do.
So if all the stories we hear about how they have long waits, that they can’t choose their own doctor, that the care is inferior and that they flock here for treatment, why don’t they just vote out the socialist politicians and get some republicans in there who will hoodk them up with Blue Cross?
The reason is, or course, that this is all a pack of lies made up by the health insurance companies, the AMA and the hospital and drug company publicists.
The last Brit I asked about this said that if anyone tried to convert their system to a “for profit” American system that they would riot.

Since the Europeans are quite capable of changing their system to a “for profit” system instead of their single payer system, why don’t they just do it and call Blue Cross to come and rescue them from that Horrible socialism?

My Canadian doctor always brings his dad over to the states when he needs a procedure. The waiting list on his heart operation was 9 months. He wouldn’t have made it.

Plus, the USA is to big for the federal government do manage health care effectively. Most European countries are smaller than most states.

There is a fundamental contradiction at the core of health policy in the EU that makes it difficult to draw a line between EU and Member State responsibilities.
