What is the future for the European Union?

I think these days European governments realise they need to continue to work together if Europe has any hope of competing against the United States and China in the power stakes. But how far do you think the cooperation will go? When member nations can’t even agree on a constituion what hope is there of ever making any progress? Will bureaucracy and political wrangling leads to the EU’s demise or will a solution be found? What about expansion – will the new Eastern members ever catch up with the West or will Europe always be divided by an economic iron curtain?

They will eventually be ruled by the anit-Christ.
