Is the European Union anti-Gypsy?
They don’t seem to say much about the discrimination faced every day by the Roma, do they?
On the contrary: treating the Roma minority according to the EU standards is one of the conditions to join the EU.
Of course, as you may imagine, this only goes for other countries, never actually for the ones that have a racial issue with Gypsies.
There is a huge discrepancy between what’s prescribed and what’s happening in reality. Look into the Amnesty International Report – the new one has just been released. You can check each country separately to see their level of anti-Gypsy policy and what’s being done about it.

Those who said they don’t qualify for aids and donations, obviously have no idea about the EU. The Roma Decade and numerous other projects are being carried out constantly and Roma minority is actually the priority on the EU agenda in the sector of human rights.
