Who do you think will prevail in a United States vs. European Union non-nuclear conflict?
If the EU was a country with a single military (so it would have the current combined military strength of all of its current 27 member states), do you think they would stand a chance against the United States in a conventional conflict (because clearly if nukes were involved the US would win before the conflict had even began)?
In my opinion the EU won’t last 2 weeks, which is still heck of a lot longer than any other country/entity would last, maybe aside from Russia.
Guys, I’m aware that most of the EU states are in NATO and are the US’s strongest allies. This is obviously a 100% fictional scenario that will never happen, so just go with that pls.
no the EU combined could not match the US military might, and the reason is that the EU has absolutely no interest in doing so, Europe loves their social programs and they love NATO because it allows them to be able to afford said social programs, the US spends enough to defend itself and majority of the world, and the leading member of NATO, so as long as the EU stays in NATO, they will not have to spend much of defense, with the UK as an exception because to do spend a good amount on defense, but they would spend much more on defense if they were not a part of NATO
congratulations wayne!!! you win the dumbest answer of the year award!!!!!
